Slug guard

We went 4 hours in Ikea today planning probably not to have a kitchen from Ikea. But it's all learning.

Last year the slugs ruled so this year I'm getting tricky. Old cds cut to give a ragged edge. Surely that will deter them from climbing into my raised bed. The garlic is growing but slugs don't trouble themselves with garlic so it's yet to be tested. I've heard clove oil on tea bags works too so that'll be next.
