The Post

I am always impressed by the postal service here. Order something from Amazon and it can arrives two days later. The postman/woman always stops for a chat and parcels greet you on the kitchen floor on one's return from a walk or a visit to the shops.
This is our local post-box - about half a mile away. It would have been harder thirty years ago before the causeway to our little island and would have required rowing a boat to post letters at high tide.
