There is a wonderful exhibition on at Rheged at the moment devoted to Herdwick sheep and their place in the Lake District. It is based around a wonderful book by Ian Lawson with unbelievably beautiful photos. I have chosen this to Blip as Beatrix Potter had a great impact on the area and the breed.
