Errand•ing

People were out in droves around the frozen lakes because of the sudden spike in temperature. Minus two felt fantastic on the skin, the nostrils and the eyeballs. The ice is ten inches thick so I won't be needing to throw out the rescue buoy today. Good thing, because I'm rather busy erranding.

What, you don't think erranding is a word? It is too. So is officing. I hear people use it all the time as in "I'm officing at home today."

While in Target, I overheard a woman tell her friend that she just HAS to get this, that it is a miracle. You.have.got.to.be.kidding. When you can use mascara? Whuh...?
