Had a really interesting day at a Studio Portrait course. Learnt loads and got to practice with lots of different lighting set ups and how to tweak things for different effects - I really like this low key style of photography but it does create lots of harsh shadows. Great for making men look macho but we all agreed women need something a little softer.  Need some new kit now to practice :0/
