It's been a day of appointments for us. Kerr showed me a huge splinter on his big toe this morning, which he must have got yesterday at Lucy's house. Ouch.

Off to the medical centre we went. The very nice nurse managed to remove the splinter with a needle, magnifying glass, light and tweezers. Kerr was a brave soldier and didn't even cry once. I'm not sure I would have been so brave.

This afternoon we both had a dental check up where we met our new dentist who seems very nice and not at all scary. Kerr happily showed her his gnashers and had a play on the chair.

The dental receptionist asked Kerr what his monkey was called to which he replied 'Mimi'. She then asked if Mimi was going to get his teeth checked and Kerr looked very unimpressed and said 'No, Mimi is a soft toy.' It was rather amusing, doesn't she know soft toys don't have teeth??

A bit of gardening this evening finished off another lovely sunny day. Could get used to this weather.
