PLAYTIME!

WE'RE ON HOLIDAY!!!!! FOR FOUR MONTHS!!!!!!!!! HURRAHHHH!!!!!

That's it. We have survived our first academic year of Mummy studying and Katie at nursery. I'm so so proud of how far she has come in the past 9 months. She started nursery very cautiously, and took her time building her trust with them. But here we are, in 9 short months she has been happily going off with one of the staff, having fabulously happy days. She has made some really good friends with her classmates and is liked amongst the staff, talked often of as a child who is permanently smiling or singing, caring to the little ones and so content. And is transitioning to the big girls room. Very proud indeed of her.

She came home a bit early today as Maike had some time owed. I was chuffed to bits to have her back early. We went almost straight outside to play as our neighbours were out. She has made a lovely little friend in an 11-month old girl 4 houses down, who charges around in a walker. Katie charged round on her bike and scooter, racing each other.

I am quite excited as a friend has just dropped off a hose pipe for us to borrow to fill the pool up. I am hoping to start it off tonight so that its full and warming up while we are out tomorrow morning, ready for the afternoon. Bring on the summer fun!!
