Yummy mummy

My alternative title for this would have been 'Bird of Prey'. She's some hunter-gatherer, isn't she? Her chicks are just over the fence in the rather tangled next door garden, so she spends a lot of time with me hunting food for them. Later in the summer I hope to get a shot of her having a bath in my lily tub by the back door - she and her fella love that!

Long, hot (no, I'm not complaining) day looking after my mum and doing her shopping, etc. Her garden is looking totally gorgeous. It's about 10 time the size of mine and stuffed with flowering shrubs and fruit trees, but I'm glad I don't have to cut that grass.

And now it's the weekend - yipee!!!!!
