knit and purl

When my youngest daughter was in grade school she taught herself how to knit. She became obsessed with making scarves and this is one of her first projects. I talked with her on the phone today about her life away at college. Most of it was good , but she said she was missing her friends from home. It's that time in the semester when everything seems overwhelming. Too many books to read and papers to write- always too many projects and not enough time.
