Karuhiruhi (Pied Shag) Drying His Wings

Walked along the Waikanae River looking for a few photos opportunities in the early evening sunshine after work, and spotted this New Zealand Pied Shag (Cormorant) standing on the edge of a group of the mallard ducks, drying his wings. I was mainly capturing the reflections on the river but this photo captures both.
