Went for a wander at lunchtime, dispatched another of emily's notes on a bench under the Dean Bridge. I think the waterproofing was probably slightly unnecessary today. It was so busy down there that I figured someone would see it pretty quickly. I was tempted to hang around and watch but I thought maybe that would put someone off taking it. I hope people respond to her. I'd respond if I found one, it would tickle me no end to find such a note. Secret missions are a lot of fun.

TFIF! Happy weekend to all and good luck to all those running the marathon on Sunday, I shall be there supporting Glicious and Shawn. I looked at the route map today and while I was raking around in the FAQs there's a bit that says you're not allowed to us MP3 players if you're running, it's against Health & Safety! I can't actually imagine running anywhere without music so I'm pretty sure that there won't be many paying any heed to this rule. Why would you want to listen to yourself puffing and panting for four+ hours?! Actually why you would choose to run 26 miles is beyond me too! Loonies!

Random Observations:

1. If you don't have mudguards on your bike, do not wear white cycling shorts (in fact white lycra is wrong in every way!)

2. Under no circumstances, is it acceptable to wear socks with sandals... ever!

3. I like the way my hair looks in my shadow.
