Stromfresser

We got our Electricity Bill for last year last week, it has gone up quite a bit,, power used I mean. From 1,840 in 2013 to 2,468 last year. I tried to remember what was different between the two years, only one thing, this 50 Inch Plasma TV. Went to the Power Supplier and asked them and I was informed that the TV uses 300 Watts, that works out at about 8cents an hour. Shock Horror, Gulp!. So now it only goes on when we have something to watch, not just troll through the channels looking for something interesting.
