I have some sad news. Our lovely school chick is no more. He had broken his leg and the incubator was faulty so he didn't survive. The other eggs didn't stand a chance. the children were told that the mother hen wanted them back to sit on. :(

Four more sleeps until my friend and I have a weekend away. Soooooo looking forward to going to my second home for a couple of days. Just a shame my dad and step mum won't be there. The weather forcast is promising so fingers crossed we will be dry on our walks.
