One of those games!!

Cole's team played in the semi final today. It was always going to be one of those games. We've all been there with that one team and the parents to match!! I won't go into it all but basically we had a new referee who was very one sided and useless, the other team play dirty and were cheating, their parents are known for kicking off and their coach tried his hardest to antagonise our parents!
Cole scored giving them a 1-0 lead, then with less than 2 mins on the clock the other team scored. It went to shoot outs, the atmosphere was very tense and heated, Cole scored his but unfortunately we lost in the end. 
It was a heartbreaking loss however our boys played their best and with pride. They played good clean hockey and were good sportsmen regardless how they were feeling inside. Win or lose that's what makes us proud parents!! 

A sheriff was on hand to deal with the parents - seriously!!! These boys are 11/12 years old, it blows my mind the example these type of parents and their coach are setting to their kids!!
