The Craw Stane

The Craw Stane is a Pictish symbol stone about 10 miles down the road from me, just outside Rhynie. The big hill in the background is Tap o' Noth.


Have been eyeing this up for a few weeks (4-shot HDR to keep the clarity in the stone), and am going to have another crack at this later in the week, weather dependent... Missed the good light on the stone as I was changing lenses (bah!), and also I'm not quite happy with my angle. But this came out better than I thought it might, so a decent starting point.
