We Have Liftoff !

What a morning in Sequim WA along the northern Dungeness Wilderness area where we saw numerous eagles.  This fella took off shortly after I spotted him...so I got 6 shots in progression as he headed out to sea.  More photos on my flickr page:

We also visited the old Railroad bridge which was beautiful, saw the Dungeness spit and lighthouse. 

After that we attended a special memorial service for our good friend's father who just passed away at the age of 96.  He was such a great man, and the day was filled with beautiful tributes to his interesting life.  We will miss his infectious smile, positive attitude and vital spirit.
