Standing to attention

These little guys are in one of our reception classes and the kids are loving having them to look after. They were all asleep, because they have been busy all afternoon,  then when they heard me come in, they suddenly got up. Quite sweet. Although through the glass I like the way they are all looking out. 

This was the first bird to photograph. When I got home I realised that we had something in the trap, It was a poor little Dunnock. It was frantic to get out.
