The Diving Belle

This was the first of two sculptures commissioned
by Scarborough Civic Trust. Unveiled in May 2007
she represents the Scarborough of the present and
was sculptured by artist Craig Knowles. It will be the
view of many that she also proudly represents the
astonishing achievements of Castle foot swimmers
over the years and those who went on to greater
success such as David Morgan and Les Rouse.
