Demolition
The hideous 1970 Westgate car park is being demolished. It's a large operation that has involved building a temporary road to keep traffic away from falling masonry.
After work I was able to find a small space back from the plant and the passing buses to admire how beautiful it has become in death. This image in particular, and some of my others, look Photoshop-filtered but they aren't. This is what a reinforced concrete ceiling that has just been smashed looks like in the afternoon sun. I shall revisit but I doubt I'll be as lucky with the light.
