In Memory
I hate that, as humans, we sometimes choose to resolve our differences through war.
However, I am grateful for those who have selflessly served to defend their friends and neighbors. Especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
My father was drafted into the military for two years of service during one of the US conflicts after World War II. Fortunately he lived and was able to get married and raise a family.
Whenever I pass this military cemetery, I think of him and others who have served their countries and am grateful.
And I pray that we can all find a way to get along that doesn't include violence and harm to each other.
