It was our wedding anniversary today - 8 years!

We couldn't celebrate with something red as I am still on the watercar, but Ireland's victory over England made  up for it. 

I got out of bed at the usual time for a Sunday, but be the time I got out of the shower it was 9:30 & church started at 10:00! The plan was to wear a skirt, but there was no time to put tights on, so jeans, t-shirt & vellies it was.

We got an e-mail today to say that our direct flight to Funchal in April, which was particularly chosen so that we would arrive early (10:00) is now going via Lisboa; only leaving Gatwick at 10:30. Bugger! We now arrive after 16:00 and lose a day. Guess we cannot do anything about it, but "bugger!"
