Mr Toad boating on River Lea

Just got back from a perfect 25C day, no clouds, lovely breeze, good friends, good food with some champagne for good luck. The boat was lovely, easyish to handle and we all mucked in to do locks etc.

Hardly saw another boat all day but saw plenty of wildfowl. My one regret was I didn't see a kingfisher but the rest of the day was perfect. All around us there was traffic chaos with the M25 closed a few junctions ahead of us. Even coming home all the traffic was going the other way. We were blessed all day!
