Teatime
It's becoming a very tea-themed visit to the Cameron Highlands. Pleasant climate, scones and walking around tea plantations. All in all: pleasant.
Interesting and disturbing hearing Malaysians speculate about the disappearance of the Malaysian Airlines plane last year. Apparently a popular rumour is that large amounts of gold was being transported to China from Malaysia as part of a debt payment and that led a group of people (*identity importantly not known) to hijack the plane, steal everyone's identities (*purpose not known), attach a drone to the aircraft and direct the plane to Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean. Eye-witnesses on the ground in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives have helpfully confirmed this account. Mystery solved; the Australians have been looking in the wrong place all the time.
This is about as implausible as the rumour that the CIA boarded the plane and assassinated everyone as weapons of mass destruction linked to Iran were being smuggled on board.
Whatever happened to a good old fashioned electrical fault.
