#12 Lagoon
Taken at my town's laguna (lagoon).
Today I was gald to see that one of the most representative spots of the town has recovered one the elements that made it atractive when I was a kid: ducks and gooses.
The lagoon has suffered a lot of changes in a period of ten years. When I was a kid, the water would run freely and reach the roadway limit, there wasn't any lily in the water and you could see ducks, gooses and gulls. People would go fishing and jogging, and no one would build there.
But then, six years ago, someone decided to build a restaurant just in the shore, so people would feed the animals with leftovers and some other would steal them. To make a long story short: we couldn't see a single duck or goose in six long years.
Also, in that period of time, the water became so polluted that lily started to grow, sometimes even filling every single blank space of water.
Today, the water is still polluted, but the lily amount has descended. And the ducks are back.
I just hope people finally understand the negative impacts of building near the area, and feeding the animals.
