inspired by seeds blowing in the wind

Another sunny day, but breezy. While we were taking our morning walk, little bits of fluff came floating towards us. There was a cloudy heap of them in the hedgerow at our feet. Looking up, I realised that they were the ripened seeds on a willow tree. Their beauty came as a complete surprise to me. How come I have never seen them before?
