Day 143- Phonsavan

Today we went to one of the sites known as the Plain of Jars. Over 90 sites have been found, and in each there are clusters of large jars dating from between 500BC and 500AD. They are thought to probably be burial jars, but it is not known who they were made by. The site we went to had over 300 jars or fragments. One local myth is that the jars are the cups of giants.
