Maungatawhiri Road.

At 6.15 a.m  this morning my good lady turned on the bedside radio. As I stirred out of my slumber I detected a hint of red on the clouds. Quickly I sprung [that's a slight exaggeration]  out of bed,pulled on some clothes and drove to Maungtawhiri  road. It is just 5 minutes from home and is on a high ridge which has a great view of the east...... and look what arrived.
