BIRDWATCHER (SQUIRRELS, TOO!)

Steve has been feeding the birds on the deck. Great idea except that the squirrels have been coming on the deck to eat as well. Not a bad thing except that in the past they have built nests in the framework of the deck. And then, they have babies! But, that is a different story!

So, last night Steve made several snowballs (6) and left them by the door so he could throw them at the squirrels to scare them away. This morning all the snowballs were melted except for one which had melted to the size of a quarter.

In this photo, Steve is watching the birds and squirrels.....the squirrels have been mating for the past few days! Today, there were three of them frolicking in the trees! We have noted that they are exhibitionists and that they have sex morning, noon and afternoon. We do not know what they do after dark!
