Lewes

After my trip to Brighton yesterday I needed to get back into my natural environment today so the spaniel and I had a glorious 14 mile walk along the Downs from Alfriston to Southease and back in the morning. From the end of the ridge above Southease you get a superb view north along the Ouse valley towards Lewes with the Kingston escarpment to the west, Mount Caburn to the east.
