Home on the Range

Cold, damp and really unpleasant weather again. We took the opportunity to visit Samlesbury Hall in Preston. It's a gorgeous old house where the volunteers run various activities to keep it going. There's a lovely vibrant atmosphere there and well worth a visit. I love the reconstructed kitchen with this amazing range but I'm really glad I don't have to light the fire every morning to boil my breakfast egg!
