Bloody Aftermath

Over 18 months after having most of the tooth removed, I finally had the last piece of root taken out today.  It was just a fragment, but it prevented me having an implant to replace the tooth.  It took a long time to find a dental surgeon willing to take it on, get an appointment, and finally get the procedure scheduled.

Now it is throbbing in my upper jaw and sinus, oozing blood, and generally making a nuisance of itself.  The stitches feel wierd too.  I am glad I had it done under sedation, but that has left me feeling a bit groggy too.

So I feel generally a bit sorry for myself.

Hopefully it will be lot better after a good nights sleep.  

Hopefully I can get some sleep.
