It was very hot today (44°C when it was hottest in the afternoon). Not easy to do serious work, so I decided I had to do something with the pecan nuts. A pie is the obvious answer as it is my favourite dessert. It took me more than two hours to crack 150 grams of nuts to make the pie. Then it took me two hours to make it. I don't think I have baked since I was twelve years old. It is totally delicious though.
