Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

Snow!

Woke up to 2 inches of snow this morning, not much I know but an unusual event here. We were to go gathering 60 miles north of our farm and there was some dithering and toing and froing over whether to go ahead with it and an hour later than the agreed time we decided to go ahead. So I took this on the journey up the road from the pick up whilst it was moving. You see a lot of tourists in the summer taking photos of this boat and view.

The further north we travelled the less the snow and by the time we got to the hill to be gathered it was all gone. It was a cold wind on the gather, the dogs were well behaved and enjoyed getting out. Pip did a couple of sends (arcs round the sheep) and stops and seems to be steadying herself more behind the sheep so quite pleased with her progress.

The dogs were super excited on the farm this morning in the snow they had a blast playing about on the morning walk. There are some lovely photos of them in the snow but I did like this view photo.

Am 0c 20mph sw with heavy snow showers.
Pm 4c 15mph sw with sleety rain showers.

Thank you all so much for all your stars and comments yesterday for my 100th blip. I feel the real challenge for me will be when we have lambing and calving going on at the same time here on our farm and on the farm where we manage the livestock.
