A Lucky Escape

These eggs had a lucky escape today.

The school has been baking for a major fundraising event at the weekend. The children made 170 pieces of tray bake, with another class still to go tomorrow. It was hard work making cake all day and not eating it - couldn't even lick the spoon as I was supposed to be being a good influence!

It was a good job we didn't run out of eggs or our incubating chickens may have had a shock! They are due to hatch a week on Thursday - we are very excited!
