Kat's 1st Birthday

Life before blip.

The delight on a little girl's face, seeing her first birthday cake! From the direction of the smoke from the blown-out candle it was 3 year-old Rachel who helped her with this birthday ritual.

30 years on, Kat is dairy intolerant and wouldn't be able to eat a cake like this. Meals out are always a problem now for Kat but in a phone call today (3rd March 2015) I heard that she had a birthday celebration last night at the Bonham, Edinburgh and had been offered TWO deserts that she could eat! Well done, that hotel.
