Sun, Snow and Mountain

Last day of snowboarding in the Alps and it turned out to be a glorious day.
There was a temperature inversion so it was grey and overcast in Val d'Isere but getting the chairlift up as you disappeared into the cloud layer it actually started to brighten and I emerged through the cloud into bright sunlight and clear blue skies.
It made for some spectacular views looking down the mountain with the valley full of cloud.
With all the snow from the day before it also made for some excellent snowboarding.
