The Viaduct

We decided that our trip out to get some extra compost we needed could involve a detour to have a look at a village station. We wanted to see which angle would be best to get a shot of trains passing along the line.

In the short time we were at the station 4 trains went through but the shot I liked best for today was one of the footpath along the viaduct over the river Eden.

As I looked down from this high place I thought of a happy day 30 years ago. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, as they say!
