Blink and you miss it

This was the sky when we took the dogs out this morning. It was gone less than 30 minutes later and it's been snowing and sleeting since noon. For some reason, we didn't leave work early enough to avoid the worst conditions and it took 2 hours to get home (usually a 20 minute drive). And by "for some reason" I mean a boss who hates to acknowledge any reason people might not be able to work. A few years ago when a hurricane hit and we were all without power for almost a week he said, "I've never heard of an office closing for a little rain."
