budding

Two weeks ago, I thought I  found pussywillows in the library parking lot, and I picked a few branches of them. Later I realized they were not pussywillows, (the shape of the branches was not right) but I put them in water and enjoyed them, meaning to eventually identify them. I still haven't looked them up, but I suppose these showy white blossoms will be a clue when I finally get around to it.
