Understanding

Understanding is beautiful,
And knowing how it feels.
To walk in some one's shoes,
Plain, without the heels.

It's like feeling sorry,
For a person who is harmed.
And something you can offer,
Helps them to be warmed.

A touching of the hand,
Helps them to know.
That what they are feeling,
Can in your nature show.

And that you have in-sight,
To know the strain of face.
And in your acts of duty,
Can act to ease their place.

For understanding rises,
And eases in it's role.
And as decisions fluster,
There is comfort to the soul.
