Crying out for decoration

What could I possibly be thinking of?(!)  The old bridge in Castle Meadows wobbled big-time and had to be taken down. After a long gap and then a time of mud, the new bridge is now finished, functional but unexciting. Here are Wednesday walkers crossing it today.
