Ice-fishing - Pilkillä

Ice-fishing is Finnish meditation. This time of year most of us sit by an ice hole for perch, the national fish of Finland. We drove in the morning to our summer cottage for ice-fishing on the Lake Kitkajärvi. We got nine roaches and only one perch today. And I walked around the lake with my showshoes. It was lovely.
