Ground Hornbill giving me the eye!

I popped into Birdland today to try out the Canon that we have bought for clients who want to try a DSLR for the day. I am a Nikon user but I have been impressed by how intuitive the Canon is and I think it is very good at representing colour. I still find the Nikon (we also have an entry level Nikon for the same purpose) easier to hold and it feels sturdier too. I only have the kit lens for the Canon(18 to 55) and found it a bit limited in the Birdland environment so will get an alterative lens for people to try.

I rarely blip pictures which show a bird in a cage but I couldn't resist this ground hornbill ....I was face to face with it when squatting next to the cage and it came to have a closer look. I would kill for those eyelashes!!
