Ephasus

Back blip.
Ephasus was amazing. There is no way that I can show what it was like in two photos. It covers miles of land in all directions . The first photo is looking towards the state Agora and it is where St John, St Paul and St    Luke all preached. The second photo is in the opposite direction and is the road leading to what was the harbour but the water is now 6 miles away as it has all silted up. There has been some reconstruction at Ephasus but unless the archeologists are absolutely certain where each piece of stone should go, they won't restore it.  They had central heating, mosaic floors, long drop toilets and so on and there were some parts of all of those still preserved intact. We spent several hours there but it was not enough, I would really like to go back some day.
