Egypt

It was a landscape of two halves on my ride to work this morning.  The settlement on the hill is called, strangely, Egypt and is reached via the walls of Jericho (!) Egypt is just that bit higher than the high point of my journey, so held on to a sprinkling of snow.  It is now just about light so I can start looking out for the hares on Bents Lane!  Thank you for your concern yesterday, thankfully the bike stayed upright today!
