Arctic mountaintop blipmeet

It was a total whiteout above the treeline on the top of Aakenus tunturi today. We teamed up with StorksRock and Houblon to climb it twice in one day. Over the top and down the other side for lunch at our favourite Porokamppa hut and then back via a slightly different route.

Beautiful, subtle shadows of snow laden trees in the forests on the way. We even put up a female Capercaillie on our way up after spotting the dinosaur-like footprints she left earlier walking from tree to tree.
