More snow, of course!
Woke to the vision of more beautiful snow falling. The weatherman had predicted more snow, right after the past two days of stormy weather. I went to bed thinking the prediction of another storm today must be wrong. Or I was just in denial. My heart sank when I saw all those big heavy flakes falling. Somehow I have survived the day. The car got dug out (thanks to my son), the mailbox got dug out twice (by me), once just cause and a second time because of the plow ridge.
Anyway, enough already. OK snow, it can't be all about you!
Maritimers are famous for their sense of humour. The weather has been pretty intense though, and I heard recently that there had been a "humour failure" in Halifax. Parents were heard to be yelling at school officials and teachers, a phenomenon previously unheard of. Yes, it's that bad!
A bit of a chat with Big Hill this afternoon, a drive in a few moments of sunshine, a photo for blip - the snow was blowing like mad over this rise, and suddenly the enui that filled the day lifted. Grace, I think it's called. Ah, give thanks.
