Holed up

The stove installation is going swimmingly, but we were holed up in the study for most of the morning whilst a hole was blasted through our living room wall.  So, as it was a bright and sunny day, we went for a walk along the shore.  Day by day the sun climbs higher in the sky, the birds sing louder and louder and you can sense from the trees an eagerness to split their outer buds and push forth the new year's leaf.  In the afternoon we went to meet a history Prof. at Queens University to take his views on the new museum exhibition that we are researching.  We came home on the student's bus that runs between Queen's and the Uni on our side of town.  Very civilised transport and very cheap!!
