Fallen

Well the video has been completed.  Dentist visit done.  Video delivered and some work actually done.  In my out and about I saw some flowers on a bench.  I approached and noticed they had been left days ago on a bench memorializing a fallen hero.  The storm that had blown through a few days ago left them untouched.  Some dew remained on the bench.  Life has gone on.  But for Matthew life has fallen.  His smile of pride and joy, a memory.  Hoorah an empty call.  Dress blues pressed.  Medals place in a box. 29. Fallen. Gone.
