The Rape Fields of Skinflats
I got back on the bike this week after one false start in March. It's been glorious weather - a bit overcast in the morning, but by the afternoon - well, just look at it. This is me cycling through the rape fields of Skinflats. Now I know that sounds more like the killing fields of cambodia than the lavender fields of Provence, but it's dazzling on a day like today. The wagon approaching me is the 1 vehicle an hour that comes along this road. There's 4 houses and 2 farms and lots of fields overlooking the Grangemouth Docks and refinery and Longannet coal fired power station. Now I can tell I'm selling it to you.. expect more blips from my scenic cycle commute over the summer, now it's finally arrived.
